There's a saying..

And this is so true.. you do not have a control on who your relations are.. even if you don't like them you still have to bear with them as they are part of your family . But Friends well they are different. They are the one of the most important choices that we make.They make it worth living for. Giving you new direction , hope and also sometimes the needed badgering to get on with things in your life. They in lots of ways contribute in our life's knowingly or unknowingly.Is there a more comfortable company than the company of friends?

In my experience there is more to friendship. Its an exception to the rule where both comfort and growth don't usually go together. But in the safety of one's friends we always seem to do test our limits. It is often a platform of challenge and helps us in facing the truth about oneself. Who else but a friend can give you a smile and also give you a skeptical look with a raised eyebrow? The endless " I know what you are up to " and not saying the words " i told you so" but you do realise thats what they should be saying to you

Most friends be it at whatever age or time of one's life brings gives us that necessary encouragement , the courage for doing things. It is said that certain people come in to your life for certain reasons and purposes and there fore you shouldn't take people for granted, especially friends; however old the friendship may be.

Hence this is dedicated to all my friends who have come into my life.. however long or short the period may be. Thank you for coming into my life :) :)
